Reading is good for you!

What happens if an aseptic waiting room turns into a forest of stories or a sea of adventure?
As part of the Leggimi everywhere project, LAB [ù] Associazione Culturale & Artistica wanted reading to become a constant presence right where families take care of the health of children and children.
He did it by setting up 6 new permanent reading corners at the AUSL Territorial Pediatrics in Bologna: a reference point for the approximately 16,500 preschool boys and girls in our city, who go there every year for vaccinations.

Why precisely in vaccination centers?

Because health is also cured through the discovery and pleasure of a story read together with mom and dad. To transform the time of waiting into an opportunity for relationship and discovery for anyone, through the power of books.

What can you find in these new corners?

• Quality books: a curated selection of picture books suitable for the 0-6 age group, in Italian, in foreign languages (English, French, Arabic, Russian, Chinese...) and also in CAA!
• Information: a multilingual brochure that, in addition to illustrating the benefits of early reading, will direct families to citizen services engaged in this field.
